3,30 € – 72,00 €
Lentils are one of the most popular and widely consumed legumes in the world since ancient times. Even today, as sprouts and microgreens, they are no less appreciated. They are popular both because they grow quickly and because they provide an original and tasty alternative to enjoy and integrate all the benefits of lentils.
Organic red Lentils
Organic red Lentils, botanical name Lens culinaris, develop sprouts and microgreens with long, crispy stems and a delicate, slightly bitter flavour in just a few days. Also rich in protein, vitamins and fibre, they are a perfect variety for those who are taking their first steps in growing and eating sprouts and microgreens.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic red Lentil sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
As a first step, we recommend soaking the seeds for 6/8 hours in cold water; this step will ensure that your seeds germinate more quickly and evenly. After this time, drain them and place them back in the container. Continue to rinse and remove the water well a couple of times a day. In just 3/4 days, your organic Lentil sprouts will be ready to be enjoyed.
How can I eat it?
Organic red Lentil sprouts are the perfect choice if you want to add colour, nutrition and flavour to your dishes. Thanks to their delicate, earthy, slightly bitter flavour and crunchy texture, they are excellent to use raw in salads, sandwiches or as an accompaniment to your soups.
Organic Red Lentil seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and direct sunlight.
