Hot Cherry Pepper

Organic non GMO seeds for hot peppers

3,30 11,00

The organic Hot Cherry chilli is one of the most popular varieties in Italian cuisine, both for its low spiciness and its small, round shape, which makes it ideal for being stuffed. It’s perfect if you want to impress your guests with a product that is not only cooked, but also grown right at home.

Description

Organic Hot Cherry Pepper

The organic Hot Cherry pepper is a variety of Capsicum annuum and is native to Italy, specifically Abruzzo. The fruit is also known as Satan’s Kiss, due to its small, round shape and a medium hotness level of around 15,000 SHU. The peculiarity of this chilli is that it reaches its maximum pungency when it is still unripe, then gradually loses it as it matures.

How can I grow it?

Cultivation of the organic Hot Cherry pepper is quite simple, so it is also perfect for those trying their hand at growing this fruit for the first time.
Start by germinating the seeds by placing them in a container over moistened paper towels. Once the shoots have sprouted, you can plant them in the soil and place the pot in the sunlight. Water sparingly and often so that the plant is constantly and never over-watered. You can harvest the fruit when it is ripe, a little over two months after transplanting.

How can I eat it?

Due to their not-too-high spiciness and round shape, we recommend that you try organic Spicy Cherry peppers stuffed or in oil.

We recommend wearing gloves when handling the chillies to avoid skin irritation.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place with a temperature between 8° and 20° C, protected from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
