Organic Radish Venom
The organic seeds of Venom Radish, botanical name Raphanus sativus, produce sprouts and microgreens with vivid magenta hues and small green leaves. They germinate in just a few days and will allow you to harvest a fresh, beautiful to look at and good to eat product at any time of the year.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic Venom Radish sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
To do this, just follow a few simple steps: soak the seeds in cold water for a period of 6/8 hours to facilitate their germination; then drain them, taking care to remove all excess water and not to create stagnation, and place them back in the container. Keep your seeds out of direct light and continue to rinse them and drain the water at least a couple of times a day. After 4/6 days, when small green leaves and roots at least a couple of cm long have developed, your organic Venom Radish sprouts will be ready to be enjoyed*.
How can I eat it?
Organic Venom Radish sprouts and microgreens have a vibrant magenta colour, a crunchy texture and a strong, spicy and rather spicy flavour. They are a delicious addition to sandwiches and salads and a perfect accompaniment to meat, fish and egg dishes, but you can also eat them on their own as a simple and super nutritious side dish.
Organic Radish seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
* While growing, Radish can form small white micro-roots: this is a natural process of this variety, not to be confused with mould.
