Organic Fennel sprouts and microgreens originate from the Mediterranean region and are characterised by an intense, sometimes spicy taste reminiscent of liquorice. Ready in a few days, they will bring a wave of freshness and flavour to your dishes.

Description

Organic Fennel

Organic Fennel seeds, botanical name Foeniculum vulgare, are a classic variety of traditional Mediterranean cooking. They produce thin sprouts that are rich in flavour and nutrients such as vitamin C, fibre, iron and calcium.

How can I grow it?

Producing organic Fennel sprouts is quick and easy, even at home.
We recommend that you start by soaking your seeds for about 8 hours in warm water. After that, you can drain them and place them in a container, taking care to spread them out and separate them as much as possible. Place them as far away as possible from direct light sources and continue to rinse and drain them a couple of times a day. After waiting 5/7 days, you will have very fresh filaments ready to be used.

How can I eat it?

Organic Fennel sprouts and microgreens, with their fresh flavour reminiscent of aniseed, are the perfect natural addition to any course, especially as a garnish to your meat and fish dishes, or as a creative addition to desserts.

Organic Fennel seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.

Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
