Description
Organic Onion
Organic onion seeds, botanical name Allium cepa, are one of the most famous and popular varieties of liliaceae. With a little patience, you can grow them and harvest seedlings with green, flavour-dense stems. Aromatic and intense, but never annoying, Onion microgreens are the natural seasoning you can no longer do without.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic Onion microgreens requires a little patience, but with a few little tricks and a bit of waiting you will get a great result.
The first step is to store the seeds in the refrigerator for a couple of days; this step will reawaken their germinative will, so that your harvest can be quicker and more uniform. After that, you can soak your seeds in cold water for 5/6 hours. Drain them well, then sow them, remembering to water them at least a couple of times a day.
The first shoots will sprout after 5/7 days, while you will have to wait about 12/15 days for the microgreens to grow.
