Lemon Balm is an aromatic herb that belongs to the same family as mint. Its microgreens appear as small, curled leaves with a bright green colour and a fresh, intense aroma reminiscent of lemon. Decorative, delicate and delicious: once you try it, you will not be able to do without it.

Description

Organic Lemon Balm

Organic Lemon Balm seeds, botanical name Melissa officinalis, develop slower than many other varieties, but the result is worth the wait. With a tender texture, a delicate appearance and zesty notes, these microgreens are versatile and perfect for adding a touch of freshness and sophistication to any dish.

How can I grow it?

Producing organic Lemon Balm microgreens is easy, but requires patience.
Organic Lemon Balm seeds don’t need soaking, so they can be sown on fine soil or on coconut or hemp fibre. Moisten the substrate and leave them in the dark until they have fully germinated, usually after 10/14 days, and periodically spray with water without creating waterlogging. Once sprouted, move the seeds to the light and, while continuing to water them moderately, wait a couple more weeks before harvesting and enjoying them.

How can I eat it?

Organic Lemon Balm microgreens have a sweet and fresh lemon scent and aroma, making them ideal for decorating and adding a citrus note to your recipes. They are also particularly suitable for cocktails and desserts.

Organic Lemon Balm seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten, and grasses.

Store seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
