Organic Lettuce

Lettuce microgreens, botanical name Lactuca sativa, have light green leaves and a white stem. They are rich in B vitamins and mineral salts, therefore ideal for a healthy and balanced diet. In addition, this variety is extremely versatile, thanks to the fresh and delicate zest that makes it easily combined with numerous other foods, both as a microgreen and as a baby-leaf.

How can I grow it?

Producing organic Lettuce microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
Pre-soaking is not necessary, so you can start sowing in the soil right away. Leave the seeds in the dark and water them a couple of times a day for the first 3/5 days, until germination is completed. Once grown, you can place the shoots in the light. If the first leaves have a yellowish tinge, don’t worry, the sun will take care of greening them. Continuing to moisten them regularly, in about 10 days you will get delicious organic lettuce microgreens.
We suggest you do a little test, tasting the leaves in the last days of cultivation, so you can harvest them when they reach the crunchiness and flavor perfect for you.

How can I eat it?

Organic Lettuce microgreens have a sweet and delicate taste: use them as a base for quick to prepare salads, or try them as an accompaniment to meat or fish, for a light and tasty side dish.

Organic Lettuce seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
