Lentils Red – Ferrari
Organic non GMO seeds for microgreens and sprouts
3,30 € – 72,00 €
Lentils are one of the most popular and widely consumed legumes in the world since ancient times. Even today, as microgreens, they are no less popular. They are appreciated both because they sprout quickly and because they provide an original and tasty alternative to enjoy lentils and integrate all their benefits.
Organic red Lentils
Organic red Lentils, botanical name Lens culinaris, develop microgreens with long, crispy stems and a delicate, slightly bitter flavour in just a few days. Also rich in protein, vitamins and fibre, they are a perfect variety for those who are taking their first steps in growing and eating microgreens.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic red Lentil sprouts and microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
As a first step, we recommend soaking the seeds for 6/8 hours before sowing; this step will ensure that your seeds germinate more quickly and evenly.
After draining them and transferring them to a substrate of your choice, leave them in the dark for 3/5 days until the first sprouts appear. Continuing to water them regularly and moderately, you can move them to the light and wait another 4/6 days before you can harvest your organic red lentil microgreens.
How can I eat it?
Organic red Lentil microgreens are the perfect choice for those who want to add colour, nutrition and flavour to their dishes. Thanks to their earthy, slightly bitter flavour and crunchy texture, they are excellent to be used raw in salads, sandwiches or as an accompaniment to your soups.
Organic Red Lentil seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.
Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, with temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and direct sunlight.
