Organic celery sprouts have a fresh, intense flavour, making them perfect for salads. Non-GMO celery seeds are delicate and require a bit of care when growing, but with the right approach, the results will be excellent, both visually and in terms of taste.

Description

Organic Celery

Organic Celery sprouts, botanical name Apium graveolens, are distinguished by their intense flavour, which is stronger than that of the mature vegetable. They are rich in fibre and minerals, making them excellent for a healthy diet. Growing them requires a little time and attention, so we recommend them if you already have a green thumb or if you want to try your hand at a new botanical and culinary challenge.

How can I grow it?

Growing organic Celery sprouts requires a little care and patience.
The seeds don’t need to be soaked, so you can sprinkle them on the substrate and keep them in the dark, watering them twice a day for a couple of weeks. After 12-15 days, the seeds will begin to sprout. At this point, you can place your sprouts in sunlight (or under warm artificial light) and water them for another 10-12 days.
After 24-28 days, the celery sprouts will be ready to harvest. Remember to cut them close to the root to preserve their typical strong flavour.

How can I eat it?

Organic Celery microgreens are perfect for use in cold, healthy dishes such as salads. Even a small amount is enough to add a touch of colour and a unique, distinctive aroma.

Organic celery seeds may contain traces of soy, mustard, wheat, gluten and grasses.

Store the seeds in a cool, ventilated place, at a temperature between 8° and 20° C, away from weather, changes in humidity and sunlight.
