Golinucci Organic
Our company has its roots in Emilia-Romagna, a region with a solid agricultural and seed-growing tradition, where cultivating quality has always been a serious matter. From here, every day, we select and export organic seeds for the production of sprouts, microgreens, aromatic herbs, flowers, and chili peppers.
We do this with expertise and passion, to support those who choose to grow with love and awareness.
Here’s why we could be your perfect growing partner:

Wondering about something?
Check out the FAQ section below — you’ll find quick answers to the most common questions about our products, orders, and shipping.
Where do the seeds come from?
All seeds are grown in Italy and across Europe, except for Asian beans (Soy, Mung, Adzuki).
Do seeds expire? What does “Best before” mean on the label?
Seeds don’t have an actual expiration date. If stored properly, they can retain their ability to germinate for years.
On our packaging, you’ll find a “Best before” date because, by law, we’re required to indicate a time frame within which we recommend using the seeds.
This doesn’t mean they become unusable after that date, but you might notice a decrease in germination rate, growth uniformity, or overall vigor.
How can I best store seeds?
For optimal preservation, we recommend keeping seeds in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, with a temperature below 20°C (68°F) and humidity under 45%.
Also, make sure they are always protected from direct light and stored in airtight, sealed containers.
Can I consume the seeds directly?
No, our seeds are not intended for direct human consumption, as they are specifically selected for cultivation purposes only.
Although they are organic, certified, and traceable products, they follow a separate supply chain and are subject to different controls compared to seeds certified for food consumption.
How can I grow the seeds I purchased?
For each variety, you can find a description and a technical datasheet on our website, which include guidelines designed to help you start your cultivation simply and effectively.
However, it’s important to know that there isn’t a single method that works equally well for all seeds: results may vary depending on many factors, such as seeding density, humidity and temperature of the environment, substrate used, watering frequency, type and intensity of light, and more.
Can I use sprout/microgreen seeds to grow vegetables?
No, our seeds are not intended for professional or field-scale planting.
In the microgreens market, each variety is identified generically, without distinctions between sub-varieties or specific hybrids. In contrast, in the professional market for mature vegetable production, each variety has very specific and carefully selected traits.
Therefore, if you use our seeds for full-field cultivation, you won’t achieve the expected results.
Can I use chili seeds to grow microgreens?
No, chili seeds are not suitable for direct consumption or for producing microgreens: they are intended exclusively for growing mature fruit.
Peppers naturally contain solanine, a substance toxic to the human body, which is present in high concentrations during the early growth stages of the plant, before it matures.
When will my order be shipped?
From the moment your order is placed, the preparation time is 2-3 business days. We do our best every day to ensure the fastest service possible, but during peak seasons, shipping times may be slightly longer.
In any case, we’re always available to provide you with updates whenever you need them.
I forgot to add a product to my cart. Can I modify my order?
Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be modified. However, if you forgot to include one or more items, please contact us as soon as possible: if the package hasn’t been handed over to the carrier yet, we can work with you to find an alternative solution; if your package has already been shipped, you will need to place a new order.
I’m outside the European Union. Can I still place an order on the website?
At the moment, our online shop is not yet set up to handle orders from non-EU countries. This is because each country has specific regulations and requires particular documentation and permits for seed importation.
However, if you’re from a non-European country and interested in purchasing our products, please contact us directly: we will review your request together.
How can I request an invoice for my order?
If you wish to receive an invoice, simply fill in the appropriate fields during checkout. In addition to the billing address, please provide:
– For Italian companies: the VAT number and the CU, or the certified email (PEC).
– For foreign companies: the intra-community VAT number, which must be registered in the VIES system.
What are the delivery times? Can I track my package?
For orders shipped in boxes, delivery times vary depending on the destination:
– Italy: 24–48 hours
– EU countries: 3–5 business days
– Non-EU countries: 6–8 business days
Once your order is handed over to the courier, we will send a tracking code to the email address you provided when placing your order.
My order is delayed. What can I do?
Once your package is in the hands of the courier, we no longer have direct control over it. However, if you notice an actual delay or an issue with the shipment status, don’t hesitate to contact us. Whenever possible, we will open a case with the carrier’s support and help you get updates on the delivery.
Although these issues are beyond our control, we will do our best to assist you!
My order was returned to sender. What can I do?
If an order is returned to sender, it is because:
– The package was damaged during shipping and cannot be delivered. In this case, we will contact you and arrange a new shipment as quickly and conveniently as possible.
– Delivery attempts by the courier were unsuccessful. In this case, we can arrange a new shipment at the customer’s expense; a new payment covering the shipping cost (calculated based on the package’s weight and destination) will be required.
I need my order urgently. Can I request express shipping?
All orders are shipped using the standard service provided by our partner carriers. If you want faster shipping, you can contact us before completing your purchase or request it in the order notes.
We will provide you with a personalized quote based on the destination and package weight.
Once we receive your confirmation, we will proceed with the fastest possible delivery method.
I received a wrong / missing / damaged product. What can I do?
If you find errors, missing items, or damaged packaging in your order, please contact us immediately.
Describe the issue and attach any photos or videos if possible, and we will work to find a quick and tailored solution for you.
The product quality wasn’t what I expected. Can I file a complaint?
Yes, of course. All our seeds comply with current legal standards for germination and purity and are regularly tested. However, since these are living, natural products, unforeseen issues cannot be completely ruled out.
If you notice any anomalies or defects, please report them within the following timeframes:
– Correct quantity of ordered goods: within 2 (two) days of receipt.
– Appearance and seed purity: within 7 (seven) days of receipt.
– Germination: within 45 (forty-five) days of receipt.
After these periods, we can’t guarantee intervention or a solution, as reliable verification would no longer be possible.
