5,20 € – 107,80 €
Organic Borage microgreens are characterised by their fresh, intense flavour and crunchy texture. What makes them highly appreciated, however, is also the fact that, if cultivated with care and patience, they turn into beautiful blue edible flowers that will beautify both your vegetable garden and your dishes.
Description
Organic Borage
Organic Borage seeds, botanically known as Borago officinalis, grow easily, but require a little patience before producing ripe, crunchy microgreens. These seedlings, with their bright green, oval leaves, have a fresh, cucumber-like flavour and are rich in potassium and vitamin C.
How can I grow it?
Producing organic Borage sprouts and microgreens is quick and easy, even at home.
Seeds of this variety do not need to be pre-soaked, so you can plant them immediately, preferably in soil.
We recommend you to grow them in the dark for the first 6/8 days, watering regularly, and then move them into the light. After about 15/20 days, your organic Borage microgreens will be ripe, juicy and very fresh.
If you wish to experiment with cultivating edible flowers, we recommend planting the seeds in pots and continuing to grow them for about two months, until the characteristic, beautiful blue flowers have bloomed.

How can I eat it?
The flavour of Borage microgreens is reminiscent of cucumber, but is much fresher and less intense, making them perfect as a garnish and addition to any dish, from salads to sandwiches, sauces and side dishes.
For those who want to experiment and are fond of cocktails, however, we recommend revisiting the Moscow Mule by using organic Borage microgreens instead of the classic cucumber. Guaranteed success, try it to believe!
